Until Everyone Comes Home

The newly formed USO Auxiliary is on a mission to raise awareness and funds for the USO. In so doing, the organization demonstrates gratitude and appreciation for the men and women who serve our country and for those who have served before them. To get things started on the right foot, the Inaugural Gift of Freedom Appreciation Luncheon will be held on November 1st.

Susan Baker will provide the keynote address and share excerpts from her newly
published book detailing her life with James A. Baker,III. Special entertainment will
be provided by USO Liberty Bells from USO New York.

Finishing Touch

If you love the candles and fragrance (as we do), you’re going to love the lip gloss!
Jo Malone Finishing Lip Gloss provides a classic, clear polish on one end and a touch
of frost on the other end. Use either side to wear alone or as an extra layer to create
a sparkling shine. Slips easily into any bag.

$20 Neiman’s or www.jomalone.com

Take a Tour

Nine architect-designed houses will be open Saturday, October 23 and Sunday, October 24 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm each day. Tickets are $25 ($20 for bike riders) and may be purchased at any of the houses the day of the tour or at 315 Capitol, Suite 120 October 11-22.

Sustainability, open floor plans, connection of indoors to outside, abundant light, and a mixture of modern and traditional materials mark key features of this year’s houses. Comfort and elegance are consistent traits.
