If you’re still looking for that perfect vacation spot, HHH found one for you--the award winning The Palms at Pelican Cove in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Texan native Chuck Fischer and his wife Joyce, own the boutique hotel located on the cream-colored, smooth, sandy beaches of St. Croix. This is a jewel of an island, and it’s easy to get there. Just take a plane to San Juan, and then American Eagle to St. Croix.
Chuck and Joyce with their Bichon Frisse, Misha, will greet you upon arrival, and they are the best hosts. If you’re interested, Chuck will take you snorkeling, gratis, day or night. He’s a great instructor and very knowlegdeable of the sea life. The water is so clear that you can see the lights of the flashlights of the night snorklers!
The first floor rooms (there’s only 40 total) are on the beach, and there will be a bottle of Cruzan rum, (made on the island) waiting for you. The hotel is pet-friendly, so you can bring your fur baby to play with Misha.
Their open air restaurant, is also on the beach, and has delicious staples, as well as daily specials. Be sure to indulge in the house Pina Coladas-they’re great while you laze in a lounge chair on the beach under a palm tree!

Wild about Wikkitz!!
French Cuff boutique has some new bracelets that are pretty, and “give back” at the same time. Wikkitz works closely with a community of women in Southeast Asia who substantially contribute to the designing and manufacturing of the bracelets. There are very few work options available for these women, most of whom have children, and many of them are forced to turn to prostitution in order to support their family. Wikkitz has provided these women with a safe, convenient, and comfortable working environment, allowing them to work from home so they can care for their children. By wearing Wikkitz, you will not only add a fabulously unique flare to your outfit, but you will also be supporting a truly worthy cause. You can find them in the store or online. $25
