The Houstonian Hotel was filled with over 300 guests for the Houston Community Health Centers (HCHC) breakfast, on Wednesday, May 5. Honorary Chairman, Mark Wallace, President and CEO of Texas Children’s Hospital, greeted attendees that were there to learn more about the services HCHC offers to the neighborhoods, and the new children’s clinic on Airline. Texas Children’s is partnering to provide consistent, available health care to children in the neighborhood. CEO of HCHC, Daniel Montez said “The additional TCH pediatrician that will be provided at Airline Clinic doubles the number of children that can be cared for by HCHC, and I would like to thank TCH for their commitment to the community.” Other Houston notables at the breakfast were: Board Chairman Wade Upton, Emily Crosswell, Leisa Holland-Nelson, Ned Torian, Linda Hunsaker, David Lopez, and John Hagale. The breakfast is an annual outreach and friendraiser for HCHC, which includes the Denver Harbor Clinic and the Airline Children's Clinic.
