Espadrilles - They're Back

This Spring, the espadrille wedge is making a comeback with a 2010 spin. We love this suede peep toe cutout bootie from Prada. It's easy to slip into with a back zip closure and the mini platform and leather sole make looking good a breeze. $695 Available at Neiman's in-store and on-line.

Go Texan - Eat a Cookie

Michael's Cookie Jar opened in April of 2007 with a singular mission to make the finest all-butter cookies in Houston. We're sold! The cookies are beautiful and delicious. This may have something to do with the fact Michael was a pastry chef with the Four Seasons Hotel group for 13 years. Great training for making out of this world confections.

You can find Michael's cookies at Dirk's on Montrose, Dirk's on the Rice University campus, and Spec's Liquor Warehouse on Smith Street. Michael's cookies will also deliver right to your door. Order cookies on-line and pick-up at one of the locations mentioned above or arrange for delivery. 3" cookies - $21.50 a dozen.
