It's (Almost) Spring!

Ready for crisp whites after a long, cold Houston winter? Head over to Target and pick up a little trench. Light and chic, this trench pairs really well with dark wash jeans. It's a cotton/poly blend with nice piping and button detailing. For an extra bonus, it's machine washable and only $40. You'll also see the same trench in bright Spring colors. Available at all Target locations and at www.target.com.

The Center for Hearing and Speech will hold it's Annual Dinner on Thursday, March 11, 2010, chaired by Liz Rigney and Laurie Vander Ploeg. The cocktail reception and silent auction begins at 6:00 p.m. and dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. Former Mayor Bill White (one of the evening's honorees) will be speaking. Formerly known as the Houston School for the Deaf, the CHS is a non-profit United Way Agency that teaches children with hearing impairments speaking, listening and literacy skills. It is the only full service resource that specializes in Oral Deaf Education.
