Betty Audish Handbags

Angie Stingray $620
Angie Stingray Giraffe $620
Kathy Python $1,450

Houstonian, Betty Audish, armed with a wealth of experience in the retail clothing and accessory business and inspired by her mother's classic style, has taken fine leathers and exotic materials and turned them into show stopping handbags. By exotic, we mean eel, stingray, python and lizard. Ooh La La!! We fell instantly in love with the Angie Stingray and Angie Stingray giraffe (shown above). The exquisite designs are crafted by a family of experts in Barcelona, Spain. Soft to the touch, inside and out, the bags are a pleasure to take out on the town.

Betty Audish handbags are sold in select boutiques across the country and Betty
also retails her creations at holiday markets and bazaars. Booth 348 at The
Nutcracker Market will host Betty Audish handbags next week (Nov. 11th -15th).

Ruby Tequilas

We know Houstonians love their Mexican food, and HHH has found a new restaurant to satisfy those hot pepper cravings. Ruby Tequilas hit H-town in September with two locations (Midtown and Willowbrook). "If you don't want Mexican food, then you're not hungry," so says Ruby, the "great spirit" behind the new tex-mex eatery. Ruby's staff insists upon using only fresh ingredients for daily on-sight meal preparations. Everything we tasted, from the guacamole and chips, fajitas, ribs, steak and chili laced mashed potatoes, was classic tex-mex at its best.

Two more things to mention: All day happy hour food and beverage pricing on Wednesdays and the beer in a margarita drink. The Dos Rita combines a traditional frozen margarita with an ice cold bottle of Dos Equis served upside down in the middle of the glass. What can we say, it's delicious! Dos Ritas are $8.99 on the regular menu and $4.99 on the Wednesday all day happy hour menu.

Moment of Luxury

HHH had the extreme pleasure of chatting with Houston based interior designer, Bill Stubbs. Architectural Digest named Bill as one of the world's top 100 interior designers. Bill's philosophy is not just to design a room, but a lifestyle. In keeping with this, Bill has launched the second season of his own television program, MOMENT OF LUXURY. It airs in most large cities across the country and in the H-town area, you can tune in to PBS, Saturdays at 2:30 pm. MOL goes all over the world to beautiful destinations and makes the experience of luxury accessible at any budget with transformational tips inspired by the locales and top experts.

Gallery Furniture is the sponsor of MOL and Bill has designed three lifestyle vignettes; a home in River Oaks, a Hill Country house, and an urban loft, at the re-opened Gallery Furniture store on I-45. Each room has the look, fragrance, and feel of the specific location.

As Bill says, a moment of luxury is discovering the beauty around you.

Treat yourself and tune in!
