Two creative women, from the Memorial area in Houston, have come up with shoulder
jewelry to solve one of fashion's great dilemmas: bra straps that show under tank tops,
halters or off the shoulder tops.
Visible Straps offers handmade intricate jewelry for your shoulder to replace bra straps on convertible bras. We're thinking Visible Straps would also be pretty darn cute over spaghetti straps, on t-shirts, and sun dresses.
Don't let the fashion police catch you making a major snafu! Visible Straps are designed to be comfortable, stylish and affordable. Special adapters attach to convertible bras allowing for movement and adjust ability.

House of Blues
Downtown Houston received an infusion of New Orleans soul when the House of Blues opened in October of 2008. The operation (also located in various other cities across the country) serves as a concert venue and creole inspired eatery. If you are looking for a little R&R (what we mean is rock and roll!!) after work, try the new HOB happy hour Monday through Friday from 4-7: $1 domestic beers, $2 import beers, $3 cocktails and half price appetizers. Nice!
The House of Blues' Foundation Room (otherwise a private club) is open to non members for lunch Monday through Friday. Check out the "4 for 40 Partner Lunch" menu. For $40, two people share an appetizer, each pick a salad, and each pick entree.
