The Mill House restaurant is a gem located on the gorgeous grounds of the Maui Tropical Plantation. Chef Jeff Sherr has a farm to table model by growing and sourcing unique and timely ingredients that are literally yards from the kitchen. Go early and tour the grounds, and check out the store.
As you explore the island there are several areas for shopping and taking a break. Lahaina’s Front Street, check out Sargent’s Jewelry, that carry local designers. Whaler’s Village has local stores as well as designer boutiques. The Shops of Wailea has the island’s Tory Richards store, and Tommy Bahama.

This distillery’s goal is to create “Hawaii in a bottle.” It’s located in the upcountry pineapple region, and uses local ingredients and Hawaiian spring water to make their spirits.You will find Pau vodka;which can be found at your neighborhood Specs.
They also make Sammy Hagar’s Rum, as well as Maui Moon vodka, and Paniola Whiskey. The tour is short and informative and then you get to taste three of their products.
Located in the Ulupalakua region of Maui, you get there by a winding road.
This pineapple winery is nestled in a lush setting.
Be sure to take the tour and then partake in the tasting room.
This restaurant is in Whalers Village, in the heart of Kaanapali.
It has delicious food,and a great view of the ocean.
Another great beach side restaurant in Whalers Village is Hula Grill.
They have two sides, casual and upscale. Both have great ocean views and delicious food.
With two locations, one in Lahaina and the other in Wailea, this Maui institution is a must visit.
The food and service are first rate.
This casual dining place is lcoated in the center of Front Street in Lahaina. It is located on the water and has yummy food. A perfect stop while shopping.
Mama’s Fish House
A visit to Maui is not complete without dining at the world famous Mama’s. The view alone would be enough to make it a good visit, but their food and service is exquisite. Make reservations for late afternoon to watch the sunset. It’s a sight you will never forget.
