Birch Modern Mercantile recently opened on Fountainview Drive and held their grand opening celebration on Thursday, September 29. The celebration included frozen margaritas, beer and wine for shoppers to sip on as they browsed the offerings of the store. Birch Modern Mercantile sells a little bit of everything ranging from honey and kitchen goods to skateboards and yoga mats. The store is organized with the home and kitchen goods in the front of the store, and then as you move through the store, there are some clothes on the left side along with other knickknacks until you reach the children’s corner, which includes items for children of all ages.
To the right of the children’s corner is the section designed to appeal to men, which is where baseball caps, knives and skateboards are all displayed. Another fun section is the beauty area, which houses nail polish, brushes and other beauty and grooming items. The variety of goods offered in such a petite store is quite impressive along with the unique items that are featured. If you are looking for something different than what you can find in a department store or a chain store, then Birch Modern Mercantile is the place to shop.
