Put it in Writing, Please
New to the scene in the Heights on Washington Avenue is stationery store Katie & Co. We love, love, love the selection of unique greeting cards. As fans of the written word, we would have told you we had seen them all. We would have been wrong. Katie & Co. carries charming, sophisticated and lovely cards which we also found to be reasonably priced ($3-$5 for most). Some of the greeting cards are the creation of local independent producers. Of course, the invitation stock has to be out of the ordinary to be housed next to the greeting cards. Makes you want to host a party if for no other reason than to capitalize on the invitations. All printing is done in-house and help with selecting type size and content for personalized items is generously provided.
We also loved the ready made children's party favor gift bags, small books related to the written note, wedding planning, good manners, etc., paper cubes with pens and pretty note pads with clip boards. Thoughts start to wander to holiday gifts and cards.
