In honor of his daughter, Mia, Carabbas founder, Johhny Carabbas opened his newest
venture around the corner from his original restaurant. He has channeled the Texas Hill
Country in this casual, family friendly restaurant. The menu has healthy salads, juicy
burgers, and melt in your mouth cookies, just to name a few of the goodies they offer. Come
for lunch, dinner, or after work for a cold one.

Theta Charity Antiques Show (TCAS) Kickoff Chairs Liz Rigney and Liz Bernica hosted a shopping event at LK Bennett, to kick off the 2012 Theta Charity Antiques Show in true royal fashion, since
the TCAS theme is RoyalTea. Shoppers had a fab time in the British based boutique, purchasing clothes, shoes and accessories, including the Natalie clutch that Princess Kate has, all perfect for the
upcoming Theta Antiques Show, November 14-19, at the GRB. Tickets for the world-renowed
show are available at www.thetaantiquesshow.com. 10% of proceeds from the day were donated
to the Theta Charity Antiques Show.

An Evening with Lyle Lovett and His Acoustic Group

Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF) will present An Evening with Lyle Lovett and His Acoustic Group on Monday, November 19 at Bayou Music Center, 520 Texas Avenue. Proceeds from the event will benefit Fund for the Future, the Foundation’s permanent endowment. For tickets: tables of 10 are available at $15,000, $7,500, $5,000, $3,000 and $2,500 levels.
