James Beard Award Nominee and star Chef Monica Pope has opened Sparrow Bar + Cookshop in the former T’Afia location. With the help of Installation Antiques who created the warm ambience, and Stash Studios who made the unique leather aprons, this bistro is welcoming to all. As Chef Pope says she chose cookshop as a gathering place and that it refers "to the namesake medieval cookshops that serviced the takeaway food needs of visitors and locals, who didn't have access to kitchens for monetary or safety reasons."

The menu changes daily and they have a new chicken salad weekly. It is wholesome food with twists that only Chef Pope could envision; such as gold and red beets with pinenuts or mac and cheese carbonara style. Delish!
