There’s a new cosmetics line in town, available only at Nordstrom. Jouer, to play in French, is the brainchild of creator Christina Zilber. A busy Mother and working woman, she believes in creating products to fit your lifestyle, like her perfect palette in shades to match you--to name one. They snap apart so you can carry them all or separately--and they can be carried on an airplane!

Jouer has other luxurious products and we suggest stopping by their new counter at Nordstrom to try them all. HHH is giving away a lip gloss to 2 readers who like us on facebook, at HOUSTON HIP AND HAUTE. Be sure to mention Jouer in your post.

Fall starts this week and HHH wants to help you get your Fall wardrobe ready. HHH is giving 2 lucky readers a $50 gift certificate to the fashion mecca store, H&M. The winners will meet stylist, Andrea Bonner, at the Willowbrook location, to help you put the perfect new look together. Follow us on twitter at h hip and haute and mention the give-away.

Oh My Googi!

Oh My Gogi! is a food truck that travels around the Houston area offering some delicious Korean BBQ and Mexican fusion cuisine. The menu consists of Korean BBQ tacos, Kimchi quesadillas, and OMG! Fries (Oh My Gogi!). This fusion of Mexican and Korean BBQ bursts with fabulous flavors that you cannot find anywhere else. Since Oh My Gogi! is a food truck, there is not an address of where you can find the truck. In order to locate the truck, you must check their Twitter and Facebook pages. The food truck serves lunch, dinner, and late night so the truck relocates several times throughout the day. The food is inexpensive but filling, so there is no doubt that both your stomach and your wallet will be satisfied. Try to not be intimidated by the long line formed in front of the truck, because the food is well worth it, and is prepared quickly and efficiently. Prepare your taste buds for an explosion of flavors!
