Sweet Treats

Good friends LaShaun Jackson and Shana Parker both are artists in the baking arena, and each learned their baking skills from their grandmothers.

LaShaun, owner of LaCake Petite has created the perfect size cake for any occasion. Each of her lucscious confections are made fresh with natural ingredients. She has several flavors to choose from and they are great for dinner parties or hostess gifts.

Chocolate Cuppie

Italian Cream Cake

Whoopie Pie

She also has oversized cupcakes called cuppies, and her version of whoopie
pies to entice your taste buds.

Shana is the genius behind The Teacake Lady. She has created a 3x3 cookie cake made the Southern way with real butter. Your first bite will be crunchy like a cookie, then as you get into the middle it has the moist texture of a cake. The best of both worlds! She has several choices to choose from, and packages them so they are great for gifts--after you’ve treated yourself!

The Champagne Cowgirls (the buying group for the Junior Market Steer Auction for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo) hosted the evening of champagne, fashion and fun with Stephen Dweck’s jewelry designs at Tootsies. Stephen Dweck considers each stone precious to him, and he remembers every detail of when and where they were discovered. Each one speaks to him and helps him create the perfect piece to showcase the stone, whether he includes his signature Adam, or not. Mr. Dweck sometimes keeps stones for years before using it, and you can see with each special creation his timing is great.
