Chicks with Guns

Photographer/Artist Lindsey McCrum is launching her first photo book entitled Chicks with Guns. You would think the lovely, blonde, effervescent Ms.McCrum is from Texas, but she is a Connecticut native, and now lives on both East and West coasts. For this project she “shot” 280 women all over America. She found them by word of mouth, and then chose 81 “chicks” to tell their stories of their passion for firearms. The women, who range in age from 7 - 70, corroborated with Ms. McCrum on the setting and attire they wore in their photo. Each photo brings to life the women’s history with guns, and also has their story beside it.
