“Our Tribute to Texas”

Known as one of the top antiques shows in the country, it’s no surprise that the 2011 Theta Charity Antiques Show has another stunning line-up planned this year. For the first time since the devastating fire in 2008, the Texas Governor’s mansion will release a collection of fine and decorative arts to display at this year’s show. Jane Karotkin, Texas Governor’s Mansion Curator/Administrator of Friends of the Governor’s Mansion, will speak to show guests on Thursday, November 17.

The Thetas also welcome Emmy Award-winning TV Host, best-selling author and entertaining expert extraordinaire Martha Stewart to this year’s show lineup on Saturday, November 19, at 10:30 am. Ms. Stewart will sign her new book Martha’s Entertaining following the forum.

Theta Charity Antique Show guests who wish to attend the forum must buy a $10 ticket OR purchase Martha’s Entertaining in advance to have their admission waived. (Forum attendees must also purchase a $10 Show ticket in addition to their forum ticket prior to entry.) Blue Willow Bookshop has made Martha’s Entertaining available for pre-sale and will also sell copies of the book at the event. Only copies purchased from Blue Willow Bookshop will be eligible for signing by Martha. Customers who pre-order Martha’s Entertaining can pick up their copy at will call before the forum at the Theta Charity Antiques Show.
