It’s comfort food at it’s best. BRC (yes, it stands for Big Red Cock) serves oysters, burgers, fries, grilled cheese, a daily variety of gourmet mac and cheese along with a wide selection of bottled and tap beer. The atmosphere is cozy upscale Houston pub. We made a stop at lunch and enjoyed twice baked potato soup and a burger. Excellent! Nightfall brings out the pub scene.

It’s current and classic all in one: The color coral takes shape in an elegant driving loafer! This pair of Tory Burch driving loafers reminds us of Grace Kelly circa 1950’s. A perfect transition weather shoe to wear with ankle length pants for an effortless relaxed chic look. $275
Stop and Smell the Roses!!
Spring is the perfect time to think of planting roses in your garden. Take a drive to The Antique Rose Emporium in Brenham, Texas on Saturday, April 3rd to discover the fragrance you never knew came from a rose - bright lemon, ripe apricots, dusty incense or heady musk! Perfume writer, Alyssa Harad, will be on hand (1:00 - 4:00pm) to help with recognizing major scent categories for antique roses and will talk about combining roses with other plants in the garden to create living perfumes. Rose-related refreshments will be provided.
