Faith In Practice’s 2010 Gala, I Heard You Calling was a night to be remembered. Volunteers and supporters gathered from across the United States to benefit medical mission in Guatemala and
to honor Founding Directors Joe and Vera Wiatt. Emceed by Scott McClelland, CEO of HEB Houston,
more than 650 gathered at the Intercontinental Ballroom in Houston for a night of celebration and
dancing. Honorary Gala Chairs were Bonnie and David Weekley and Rev. Dave and
Terri Peterson. They were joined by Gala Chairs Dr. Gary and Mary Card, Dr. Brian Parsley,
and Donna and Kenneth Wine. Signature Sponsors Memorial Hermann Hospital System, The Strake Foundation and Bonnie and David Weekley made the night complete.
Faith In Practice medical, surgical, dental and educational mission teams serve those in need throughout Guatemala. Each year, more than 1,000 US and 400 Guatemalan volunteers come together in humble service to bring healing to more than 20,000 patients. Through this service, their lives are changed by the blessing of the gracious people of Guatemala.
